3 Challenges That Entangle The Whole Linux And Open Source Community

There are a number of challenges that entangle the whole Linux and open source community. Here are 3 of the most common yet unseen challenges that might be on their ways to been solved (or not depending on the timeline).

• New users want to have very specific and proprietary software

New users want to have very specific and proprietary software that is familiar, but is ultimately redundant.

• Then their is just the community at large having multiple factions

Then their is just the community at large having multiple factions, that are treated like religions at times, meaning that in order to "improve" things their needs to be some agreement about important things, which while keeping open source alive to a large extent it however, just like show/cartoon fandoms, it also holds back the same show from moving forward or trying new things, while also driving away and confusing new users/fans from participation due to fear and inexperience with the exact same show/cartoon, which also creates it own simlier but very different feedback loop.

• Old users don't think they are needed

Old users don't think they are needed (because that is mostly true), but their are parts that need improvement, however due to distrust of dealing with corporate overlords, and corrupting the soul of the the open source concept, most Linux users would prefer a quality open source solution, but that takes time, new users, and money, but since that takes time, that reduces number of people that would use Linux and make software for Linux as well, creating a negative feed back loop that causes further slow downs.
