Elections: World Elections

Elections... Global elections. I don't like to talk about Politics but it is a Historical event since 50 Countries have and will have elections this time around. This is the biggest election period in human history it is said. So now you can add that to a list of your "Historical events" bookmark in your life. That along with the other things we shall not talk about for now or until things change (maybe I will write about them and maybe not or maybe things may change).

It is the gift that keeps giving. The opening was artistic, paying homage to all the wonderful parts of Olympic and French History and they had the lowest budget with one of the highest productive output. Everything was efficiently used without wasting resources. 

Much as it has had its fair share of controversies. Viewers can't help but admire the effort put into it. 

Now to the meat and potatoes, there is only one thing we can say about this Olympics so far and how it has landed on this week and anime related blog: Main Character Energy. We have a sneaking suspicion that this Anime and Manga is not about us anymore and we are merely in the presence of main Anime protagonists battling it out to achieve their dreams. From the show stopping Assassin's-Creed-like character carrying the Flame to the Turkish gentleman winning a Silver medal without any gear but a pose has people questioning if we live in their Anime and we are the sideline characters. 

The Turkish Silver Medalist Yusuf Dikleç's pose has become so iconic in such a short time that he reprised the pose a again. He broke the curse of been a number 2 without recognition.

There's been a huge uptake in short Kings and tall Queens pairings and we are all here for it.
