Chainsaw Man Chapter 175 - Kneel Before the King Stay Speechless
Recap on Chainsaw Man 174 which you can read in our recent blog post. The real Chainsaw Man appears or is forcibly brought back by Flametorch hybrid devil which Chainsaw Man quickly dispatches of.

For one of the first times in the manga Chainsaw Man has "retaliated against" "humans" or by-standers whilst Denji is "kind of conscious" (usually he ne er does this), and if he does there is a reason for this. He'd usually let stuff like this slide but seeing Denji hurt, Pochita (Denji in a way too because they share the same heart) has seemed to have enough. For the first time there are "direct causalities" as you notice with Denji in Chainsaw Man form or mid-dream-like-state doesn't "just attack by-standers" on a very low threat level. That is a lot to unpack but if you read the Manga multiple times you will notice this very key detail which is very smart of Fujimoto to do. Another interesting detail too is he is sort of very tactically cognizant like hearing Makima's plee's for help and escaping Hell just to rescue her or dispatching of few harmful bystanders to avoid killing everyone and having the crowd flee.
The devil extermination bureau is quite quick witted as they turned a situation that ails them into a sort of advantage because their intention was to not control Chainsaw Man but they seemed to do so now (kind of shows the process behind using devils like the future devil's abilities and what led to the decisions that involved keeping it alive... "The future rules!"). So now the directives are to disable Chainsaw Man but then in jumps Yoru and Katana hybrid devil with a well synchronized combo with the Primal Fear (the Aging devil).
But no, alas they are no match for Chainsaw Man. (The Primal Fear though is not going all out)
After agreeing to the deal to get eaten we doubt the Aging devil and Primal Fear is really putting too much of a match up against Chainsaw Man because we know the devils sort of have multiple phases or forms like the Hell devil and the Infinity/Eternity devil (much as their powers sort of have a signature "feel" to them like the Infinity/Eternity devils infinite/circulating rooms).

Fan Theories And Speculation About Chainsaw Man Chapter 175
* Yoru bowing before Chainsaw Man kind of feels symbolic. But could also mean that the tool has surpassed the master. Or "the horse has usurped the rider (from Bleach". Because it has long been a fan theory that the hybrid weapons are kind of a subset of Your the War devil.)
* We are not sure if it is Chainsaw Man or Denji or both of them infact. Since from season 1 of the Manga we could see that it is kind of Denji in a dream state or something and Pochita/Chainsaw Man that is in control and sometimes side controls as he could "throw a piece of him" elsewhere (which would be a major spoiler if you know exactly how Denji uses this).
* What happens exactly after Yoru falls? Or what will happen. Why didn't Chainsaw Man clean out the restaurant or finish off everyone there? Kind of had a connection to them or something and isn't just a "walking calamity"?
* Chances are high (not zero) that Pochita will not kill Asa because that is Denji's girlfriend (he kind of has one now so... Good on our boy).
* Clever small detail there also left by the Mangaka [Tatsuki Fujimoto] but Chainsaw Man loses his mouth as well which is both a clever tactical move on Chainsaw Man and the Mangakas part (not sure if it was planned but it shows Chainsaw Man or Pochita is very tactical combatively just like the Doom Slayer and is not just throwing punches left and right because they can)
* This chapter showing Pochita not killing Asa (when presented the chance to multiple times) has also showed that Pochita does indeed care a lot about Denji's feelings and also the bond Denji and Denji's adoptive sister had with him. This whole thing shows that Pochita does indeed take Denji's feelings into great consideration so let's hope he doesn't tire of the pesky humans and just decides to off of all of the bureau or those responsible?
* Pochita or Chainsaw Man is sort of very battle tactically cognizant like hearing Makima's plee's for help and escaping Hell just to rescue her or dispatching of few harmful bystanders to avoid killing everyone and having the crowd flee. Eating the Mouth devil to avoid the Hybrid devil healing etc... we see how and why Chainsaw Man or Pochita has earned the battle moniqer "The Hero of Hell".
* Which brings us to this very important Fan Theory... Just what in hell or earth or heaven injured Chainsaw Man at the start of the Manga? For those of you who don't know in the beginning of it all, how Denji met Pochita and their whole bond in the Manga or Anime was when Denji met an injured Pochita and healed and cared for his wounds. From then on and a contract later on, Pochita has since tried to do his very best for Denji. We could sort of feel Pochitas pain here, been weak and unable to help (even provide for Denji from having been called "The Hero of Hell" to now this form) Denji but silently listen to all of Denji's dreams and wishes and been unable to do anything about it. After merging with Denji's heart Pochita has ever since tried to provide for Denji in the best way he could.
* Seeing as Pochita is kind of Primal Fear level does this mean Chainsaw Man has indeed travelled to the "other dimensions of hell" where the Primal Fears reside? (Well seeing as there are some humans there in Aging devils world we can say it is kind of possible... also it seems their wounds are fresh and the Aging devil is an outlier because they are quite chill and non-chalant about things, there is little possibility the Darkness devil would be this friendly though - unless otherwise stated).
* How on earth did the devil extermination bureau of all human entities commune with the Primal Fear? Like us even communing or communication possible?
* This brings 2 other important questions into light. What happens if Family cannot eat? What happens of Horsemen cannot issue commends (like Makima or the Control Devil? I know they get creative but seeing as it is a staple for some Devils, do they like... I don't know... I really don't know now)?
Conclusion Of Chainsaw Man Chapter 175
When we the fans asked Denji to eat Makima out we didn't mean "that way" (literally) just like when we told Denji to make Yoru and Asa fall for him, Denji we didn't literally mean make the girl fall!
