Unlocking Success: The Power of Emotional Intelligence (EQ)

I am now understanding why EQ is another determining factor in success.
Yes there will be more talented people than you, yes there will be more people with chances to connections than you... but non of that matters if they don't know how to properly respond the to human emotional side of things or don't have an ounce situational awareness. How will they deal with the human emotional situation to have the best outcome?

A great example is: amazing geniuses self sabotaging themselves with their key relations.
Whilst on the other side of the equation we have against it: a "failure" who strives to get to know more and expand their human network or reach
When it is time for that "Net Worth Upgrade", most of the times the high EQ "failure" will grow exponentially and the genius would stagnate (unless maybe the right person spots them, they strike gold or they self educate or they meet the right people which still falls into the EQ thing).

A simple equivalent of "wtf you think ur writing to", "hhhuuuhhhh?????????" in an opening conversation or email with a potentially high net worth individual can mean either a huge downgrade or upgrade depending on how well they responded to it (that is the whole EQ thing). And downgrading someone wrongly in public can break key relationships that would have otherwise helped you if... You hadn't really thought about it well and the situation didn't call for it. Otherwise it could have gone the other way.
That one above was over exagurated but a great amount of people have this tone during email conversations or chat messages... with key players that would have helped them greatly succeed! I have seen it too many times happening to people and sometimes I wonder what was going on in the other person's head? Why pick that reaction or write that message of all the reactions you could have picked?

That is not to say "be a people pleaser", if the situation calls for it you can also discern bad company (if it is really unproductive bad company - because a lot of people misjudge a jump and fail that is why there are very few successful people and a lot of unsuccessful ones) and tactfully avoid conflict (but if it were to arise you handle it well, string it in the best most productive direction). A good EQ allows you to judge this well because most times people misread the situation and overreact, causing an avalanche that can ruin their lives and reputations (that is not to say a bounce back is impossible but in general this is so).

So there you have it, a good EQ allows you to become successful because you know how to properly respond to a stimuli to attain the best possible outcome.

Conclusion: A good EQ allows you to become successful because you know how to properly respond to a stimuli to attain the best possible outcome.
