10 TIPS FOR SURVIVING A DELINQUENT FIGHT OR ATTACK (GROUP OR ALONE)

As I have done some internet research there seems to be little to no advice about how one can survive a group fight or delinquent attack that happens instantaneously. So, to keep things interesting for those that ever go traveling and might run into such a situation, here is some advice for you:

Note: I will not be held responsible for any damages, injuries or mental problems caused by this advice, and I do in no shape or form advice you to take part in delinquent group fighting or fights in general. Anything and everything you do from here on out, you do in your own premise.

• TRICK EM AND RUN... AND KEEP TRICKING EM WHILST RUNNING

Let us first get the most obvious one out of the list and let's be frank, if you are charged in by an army of delinquents all of a sudden (ones that are looking for your blood in particular) then the most most obvious thing to do is run. Simple as that! Avoid them! The thing is if you can't handle it, then return to fight another day. There is always a tomorrow.

• BRING A TEAM

If you are no martial artist with a good grip of sparing and parrying: Never fight alone! Always bring a team or pull in some good soul with you into the chaos and survive together.

• BRIEF YOUR CREW ON THE FIGHT

With the little or huge time you have on your hands, brief your team on a viable strategy to defeating the delinquents. Remember a well organized small team has a bigger chance of beating a poorly organized bigger group.

• PLAN AHEAD

Look around! Analyze the situation! Remember, that escape plan you instantly visualized when you saw them coming, that bar on the side of the road waiting for your hands to clutch it. Yes, these are all micro plans you should keep in mind as adrenaline clouds your cognitive abilities. Fail to Plan so that you don't Plan to Fail.

• CALL OUT THE RESPONSIBLE

'Fight one on one, mano-a-mano, skin to skin, chin to chin. That is how real fighters solve a problem. Winner takes all, losers scramble.' That is it! That is the condition to one on one fighting! If you know the leader of the delinquents and can call them out, then go ahead and do it. It is better to it on with 1 person than a group of them.

• TALK TO A HIGHER AUTHORITY

Call the cops while you are at it. Again, cheap as it might sound, it would better to have the laws on your side than against you. Remember, when the fights always over there will be an after effect and if someone else other than the ones on your side called the cops on your then you would be in trouble despite been the victim or the one in trouble.

• USE YOUR AUTHORITY

Cheap as it may seem but listen to me here, imagine you were a cop. If you happen to be a cop and you stumble upon a delinquent brawl you would automatically pull out your taser along your badge and stop it. You been a person of higher authority had the power to stop the fight. That been said, if you had some potent authority in you what is the problem in using it to order them to stop and desist or face the consequences. If you are older and they are minors you have the legal authority to stop them immediately or face time in a delinquent institution for misdemeanor and battery.

• USE EVERYTHING AS A WEAPON

No one said anything about fighting honorably in this fight as you are trying to survive a delinquent attack not fight in the U.F.C or something. There is not ref, there is no crowd and that beer bottle laying on the street corner is the only law. "Eat or be Eaten" isn't that the law of Nature in such a situation?

• CORNER AND ONE ON ONE THEM

If you are out numbered, had no time to plan ahead and are suddenly surrounded by delinquents your only choice now is to:

1. Run
2. Hide and Hit
3. Call them out for a one on one duel
4. Move them into a little space where you can take them out one by one

• TALK IT OUT OR NEGOTIATE - You Are All Human

They have their reasons for this attack but based on the situation at hand it would be unwise to fight as something worse might happen. Because you are all human and you know it won't end well so you try talking it out as it might be the best solution to any tips here.

CONCLUSION:

If they are armed, just do what is most obvious, either run or comply. You don't want to get anyone or yourself hurt. But if push comes to shove and you have no choice, then go ahead and apply what you learnt here.
